Maricela’s work is informed by her experience in international network coordination, community engagement, business management, nonprofit organizational development, and mediation. She is passionate about addressing and removing obstacles to collaboration and is especially motivated by efforts centering social and environmental justice. Maricela comes to this work with commitment and excitement to support the work of teams, organizations, networks, communities, and more to strengthen individual and collective capacities to affect change. She holds a degree from Cal Poly Humboldt in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Community Organizing.

Maricela’s “Why”:

I believe in the power of meaningful collaboration to achieve shared goals. When we work together guided by values of collective well-being, we can not only achieve our objectives—we build deeper relationships and understanding along the way. Even in challenging times, this interconnected approach multiplies our positive impact and fuels my optimism for meaningful change.

Where else you’ll find Maricela:

You can find me in awe in the redwood forest, at the beach, along the river, at the pottery wheel, on the dance floor, cooking something colorful and flavorful, and gathering regularly with loved ones.
